Getting new assets.

Ok so I've run into a problem when I get new assets, the .tgas don't munge correct. They munge as a "._(whatever name tage is). I found a way to fix it, go to Gimp, save .tgas as themselves. This works well, but when I get large packs (Such as Rend's Mos Eisly Spaceport Assets) it takes FOREVER to go through all the tgas.
So is there an easier way to do this? Or am I just stuck?

im afraid i dont understand your problem. when you munge tgas hey are converted to a filetype that you cant open and use, just like odfs etc.

You shouldn't have to be re-saving them at all, I just downloaded the mos eisley assets and the .tgas are fine.

yeah... idk if there is somthing wrong with my Visual Munge or what. All i know is they freeze Visual Munge up like a stone if i don't save.

so you are saying: tgas from downloaded assets cant be munged and you have to open ans save them with the exact same name again in order to get them to work?

Yep... I though that all assets worked like that for everyone.. Now i guess its just me?

yes, indeed. could please write up exactly which steps you have to do to get it to work and which you do so that it doesnt?
