6th unitn?

Is it possible to create a sixth unit :atat: ? I wanted to make the PROPER Bothan Spy (w/Imperial Disguise Kit), Imperial Officer (with unmask ability), Clone Commander (Dependant on Legion affiliation) and MagnaGuard (with Electrostaff)

Unfortunately, no. Nobody has ever been successful in adding a 6th unit. I think the engine only allows 5.

^yep, besides where are you gonna get the models for them? all you could do is a fancy photoshop skin job. No one has sucessfully gotten a character model into game (probly won't ever). Even if you could get a 6th unit you wouldn't be possible.

Came with XSI didn't it? If LA can do it, there must be a way. Oh and the units I want to use already exist.

Magnaguard (w/ Electro Staff)
Clone Commander (W/Blaster Rifle and Chaingun, as well as Concussion Grenades and Recon Droid)
Imperial Officer (ARC Caster, Commando Pistol and unmask ability)
Bothan Spy (Stormtrooper Disguise Kit and Blast Cannon instead of crappy incinerator rifle and stealth)

,wrong forum then you sure you thinkin about BFI? And no we can't get models in game, its just not possible. But yes you could model weapons and put them in game.

well not a problem didn't know that. But, besides even with that you can't get new character models in game. :?

Well, that may be from a very early build of BF2. He's got pics of things from both games. Most of it BF1, though.

Indeed, yes, that screen-shot shows SWBF's Shell as it was in the first versions of that game...

RDST, it IS possible to make a costum made unit into SWBF1 or SWBF2! all you gotta need is the mesh(es) and bones, nulls and the hieraky in XSI. if you DO have the experience, then it IS possible.

if a model was released with bones, nulls etc. we would probably have tried today.

don't say its not possible, when it is :P

Off-topic : In fact, it is way far from being as much "Impossible" as most of GameToast members around here could suppose, Teancum, and psych0fred is surely among the only persons being able to modify the Source Files associated to "shell.lvl" in order to enhance the Amount of exploitable Slots showing up inside the "Units Selection" Interface, as proven inside the message DaCheat inserted earlier, without forgetting that the aimed Pandemic Studios Employee mustn't have given up this Project, contrary to what you might suppose...

PS : Lord_Valanx, next time you bring back one or more threads to Life, be sure I will not be as much tolerant as I am apparently...
