Hello there GameToast, I have finally released my map Abregado-Rae: Venezia after a long battle with a virus I have finally managed to finish the map and to my luck it was uploaded on filefront in a very timely manner.

Before I go on rambling here is the link it has all the information you could possibly need regarding the map:

There may be more, sorry if I forgot to credit anybody. (Note to beta testers who did not send beta reports, I did not forget to include you I did not include you in here for obvious reasons and I will not consider you for beta testing in the future).

Enjoy!

Bobfinkl,

Is it possible for you to make a patch that removes the water?

I just played it. Great map! I like the tight feel and the close-combat tension. One thing that could have been better is the minimap. (or lack thereof) It was hard to find my way around the city at first.

Well. I did send a beta report (that was read, and I offered to reskin the Naboo buildings for you and I took too long and didn't make them in time. A PM would have been nice, to remind me and tell me you were pretty much ready to upload, but whatever, not your fault I took too long. :P ). Not sure if that disqualified me for credit or not. :?

Are you sure? I did not receive one in my PM's, perhaps it just failed to completely send through when you had originally sent it?

I had earlier asking for it in a weeks time, although I had a virus past that time and had been unable to send/receive anything (which is why it took so long for me to upload).

Without the beta report there is no credit, with there is (I wouldn't blame a technological fault on you I will still give you credit if you resend/show me a picture of the beta report).

It has been brought to my attention that I worded my comment rather rudely, I apologize for that I just wanted to avoid having to answer the inevitable questions of "why wasn't I credited?" And "Why are there no new textures?" I had written that up while I was rather tired I did not pay good attention to whether or not it was rude.

Yes I will include one with the next release considering the map is a mere 6 mb (I don't know the exact number off-hand I just know its low) I could easily have a no water version.

Thank you everyone for the positive comments.

Just forget I said anything. :|

I don't know what happened with the PMs. I remember typing out a report mentioning things like I liked the layout of the city, and that I really liked the simple but nice rebel trooper skin. (I only tested GCW, I didn't have time to test both eras.) I remember saying that I liked all the reskinned props, like the Kashyyyk props.

If you are going to make a new version I will have those textures done by then I think.

Actually I've already gotten the preliminary textures done. I could touch them up if Bobfinkl needs me too, maybe add some red filigree or something.
