Flyer being treated as a ground vehicle...sort of [Solved]

I have a slight problem:

I added the MAF (From BF1) to a ground map. It spawns properly, and I can enter it normally, but it won't take off. It's as if the game is treating it as a ground vehicle, except none of the weapons will fire, which is a characteristic of flyers. :?

Any ideas?
I haven't edited the file at all; just copied it over with the necessary assets. There are other flyers on the map, and they all work fine.
Also, I've used the MAF on previous mods, where it worked without a hitch.

Are you using the updated MAF from the Released Assets thread? As I recall there were issues with it on occasion that caused it to be updated for SWBF2.

I am not. Like I said, I've used the MAF in previous mods; no issues. Besides that, a bunch of those links appear to be broken, MAF included. Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I ran into this same problem years ago and I fixed it by commenting this out in the ODF (line 33):

Code: Select all

Don't ask me why that works, it just does. :) Are you using a game pad by chance?
