Munge Problem [Solved]

Just like the topic I posted earlier today, I'm having a problem that has been addressed on the site, but the solution doesn't work for me. It's pretty annoying :P

I'm having 5 problems right now.

1) It's way too fast. It takes about 1 second. Even though I'm on Win8 I tried the vistafix thing that's in the FAQ, but it didn't work (I did that, made a new map with it, then munged).

2) I'm getting weird errors at the end of my munge files like "\Intel\iCLS was unexpected at this time." or something.

3) At times at the beginning of a munge I get a screen (looks like command prompt) saying there's an "error reading processed script" or something.

4) The Addon/ABC/data/LVL_PC folder has nothing in it at all - it's completely empty.

5) When I start up the game after a munge, it crashes almost instantly - after the first loading screen it goes to desktop. After removing the folders from addon this problem is fixed, so I think this is just a result of all the other problems.

Does anyone know what's up with any of these problems? I used to mod a fair bit and I'd never seen any of these problems before (besides the crashing to desktop).

I was having this problem as well but I somehow managed to fix it. I think you have to use the fix before doing any munge. What I did was reinstall my modtools and then use the vistamungefix to get it to work.

Your problem is not unique, 1-4 are related to munge failure and can be remedied by the 'munge fix' which simply comments out 2 lines in each batch file. The vistamungefix just automates this process, but you can do it by hand also. If the vistamungefix didn't work then it probably wasn't run from the correct location, read the instructions carefully. Problem #5 is irrelevant since the map was already broken due to an incomplete munge.

Alright, I uninstalled the mod tools, reinstalled them, and ran the munge fix. It works smoothly now - not sure what was going wrong before, but it's stopped now. Thanks!
