you have to apply a seperate material to the pauldron that uses the pauldrontexture.

Please don't post the same thing twice in two different threads. Also, what is different about "your" hangar when compared to the stock DS hangar?

I must admit that I see no difference, apart the grey towers in front of the hangar.

1st the floor (complete)
2nd the roof is changed a bit (only one crane)
3rd the entries are different (the walkways before the door)
4th the complete Hangar is smaller so it's a Hangar for only ONE fighter (maybe Vaders Private Hanger only his fighter stands there)
5th becasue the Hangar is smaller i needed to cut peaces from the "control room step" i needed to make the control room Door (in the Hangar) bigger, and the controllroom has only one window in the other one are the Weapons.

i added some textures with Phong.
Not the final texture it's only for visibility so it looks better.

to add:
new case (because of the stair and the texture)

2, 3, 4 stage and top stage.

Question:

Is there a matter if you can see the outside or inside of a mesh??

i added some new mesh with the add Mesh tool. but for some reason sometimes the outside is shown and sometimes the inside.

==EDIT==

here a pic i made the superstructure with the add mesh tool.

i selected the marked tool and moved the mouse all over the window. you see with this view i can only select some parts of the new mesh, because i see the inside of the others. In XSI these parts have an other color. they are brighter or darker. is this in BFII too??

Easier way to do that is select the polies you want to make higher then do an Extrude Along Axis

That way you don't end up with hidden polygons, it is all 1 mesh and you don't have the selection problem you are experiencing.
