Maybe something that conflicted with the pack, such as a side mod (excluding BFX 2.0+up and the 1.2 unofficial patch)

Thank you everyone who helped make this in any way shape or form. Now all I have to do is complete the other 70% of the download and play!

Yeah, you should definitely install this over a fresh install of SWBF2, patched to version 1.1.
@ Mav -- thanks for taking the baton for the home stretch. We did it brother!

Oh my god.... I installed it and at the end of the installation. [Diet Dr. Pepper] It opened an MS-DOS batch file. It seg something about REG whatever did not exist, and that it couldn't find battlefront. I tried to take a pic, but it closed when I tried. And so I can tell it isn't gonna work. Prolly gotta reinstall my game and everything.

Downloading now, can't wait to play it. Do I need patch 1.3 to play the KOTOR maps?
Edit: never mind, the pack installs it itself

Please note, as I've said (and as Teancum mentioned), that it is wisest to install this onto a newly-installed-and-patched-to-1.1 copy of Battlefront II. I think I only said this in about three different places, so it must be important.
And mod man, you bring up a good point that I neglected to mention: the installer may take some time to start up, so don't be frantically clicking it expecting it to start instantly. You may have to wait up to a minute or two.
Fluffy_the_ic wrote:Wait, the installer's 1 gig, right? Are we gonna be able to uninstall the installer, as Ive had things where the installer was about 95% of the filesize. Also, should we uninstall 1.9 before use?
The installer's actually only about 750MB, but yes, you can delete the installer after you install the Pack. I would make sure that your installation went smoothly before you delete anything, though.
And yes, I would advise uninstalling 1.9 before installing 2.0. I know (I've tested) that it
will install correctly over 1.9 (or any version of the Pack that uses only the "BF1" addon folder), but unless you're absolutely 100% sure you know everything you're doing, there's a chance it will mess up. As long as you install this onto a new copy of BF2 (patched to 1.1), then this is pretty much a foolproof installation.

The Pack is not only marvelous looking at all new things, and efforts being put in it, but it just creates a feeling that I'm sure will make lots of people play Battlefront 2 a lot longer! Cheers Tean! Cheers Mav'! And cheers Lucasarts, since you can work on Battlefront 3 now as long as you want; we've got the Pack!
Indeed, although I think it's
Ma(r)
velous!
Great job you guys! *highly considering playing BF2 today*

Oh great. Might reconsider trying this today...

Heh. I've had that happen many a time.
