I wouldn't consider one sentence to be a lecture. Don't take anything I say personally. If your "Honestly, you shouldn't deviate from" would have been more like "Try not to deviate from", then I wouldn't have typed my first sentence

You know what I mean. Now, telling me not to take it personally, that has me a little irked. That phrasing was just me being inadvertently blunt. If were actually trying to be rude, I wouldn't be so subtle about it. I don't have time for complicated mind games, and I certainly don't play them here. I come here to get away from that crap.
