Download MODS

Im new to modding and I would like to download some, but i have been told to put them into the addon folder in game data on BF2, but I don't have an addon folder!
Please advise!

When i try making a folder it says 'unable to create the folder "new folder". Access is denied.'

Are you running Vista? Try running as 'Administrator.'

I'm running XP
Could it be something to do with the fact iv got the international version?

I don't think International should matter. Have you tried running as Admin in your XP, though?

Umm, I'm pretty sure that you hafta log off, press ctrl+alt+delete twice, and then type in "administrator" then hit enter.

When I press ctrl alt del twice it brings up the classic logon screen,but when I put administrator in as the user name it requires password

huh. How many accounts does your computer have? Do any of them require a password?

Oh. Well, then you can't get on because of the fact that one of those IS an administrator account.

Maybe create a folder called addon on your desktop and then cut and paste it into gamedata?

Go to C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData and create the addon folder.
Put any mod folders in here and see if they show up in game (they should).

Isn't that a Windows Vista only feature? He said he's running XP.

I still can't produce any folders in the GameData folder or transfer files to it
