Yeah... I was going to say something to Marth but he went to bed before I came online.

Wow.. what a... Bosh'tet.
Ontopic: I'd like to see a little more effort put into this map/mod. All I see right now is a slightly modified Mos Eisley. I'd like to see you push yourself a little harder. Forgo the "asphalt" terrain for something else. It doesn't fit at all. For one thing,
They don't have asphalt roads in Afghanistan villages. In cities? Sure, but not villages.

Yes, the map does need alot of work. I'm leaving for vacation because of Spring Break next week and right now my primary concern is to finish up the units for CW and GCW before I leave. Once I get back I'll be able to devote my full attention to the map itself. Thanks for the pics WULF!

Argh, dang it... Yes, that's what I meant; I was tired, and the first word that came to my head was "onomatopoeia".

I think the Separatist Officer is fine as is. Also, I'm liking the Rebel Commander.

Doesn't Praji usually wear black?

That's neat, having Nahdonnis Praji as a hero, I don't think that's ever been done.

I think it was done once, in Rends Mos Esiley map. About Praji, I'll make him wear black when I get back from vacation. Right before I left I added in Archers Hero support script, there are now AI heroes in Conquest and CTF, but I'm gonna leave the Deathmatch heroes as they are.

Been done before,
Rend's Mos Eisley Spaceport.
Even the assets were released, and yes the links work I checked.
Edit: Dangit, got ninja'd by ARCTroopaNate.

Cool. I really like the look of the Clone ARC Trooper by the way.

Yep, I got the Aqualish CIS Captain from Rends side, though I made Praji myself by editing the stock Solo hero. Yeah, he has a Z-6 as well. Red Ep3 Clone Trooper with an Imperial Rocket Pack, a cape, DC-17 Holsters, and an ARC Trooper Pauldron.

I wouldn't know, I never downloaded that map. Although I'm definately contemplating it now.

The poll is finished, I'll stick with the Aqualish. I'm coming home from vacation on Saturday, I'll have two full days to work before going back to school.

I am looking forward to the possible potential for this map. And, on the earlier subject of smoke grenades, there is a way to do it without regions, which I believe was mentioned in another thread. You could use the "fake grenade" method, then spawn an invisible, friendly entity the size of the smoke, then through LUA kill the entity off after the amount of time the smoke leaves. By making the entity friendly to both teams, neither team's AI would shoot at it.

Greetings. I really like the Modern Era feel for the mod.

Wondering if there's going to be any major map changes or texture changes, seeing as its the Mod Eisly default...?

Hey Alex! (Drivetrain) I'm glad you finally joined Gametoast! There have been and will be changes to the map. I've messed with the boundaries and the random skies. I'm going to add vehicles and turrets and replace some Command posts with new ones, like the Taliban training camp and the NATO Compound.

I'm all for using an Aqualish, since they are not often used, but you might consider using
this model, as it is more battle-ready than Rends' one.
EDIT: 5th one down
