I do want to finish this project and since I've got so far already I'm not turning back.
Is there any skins on here or anywhere else I could use? As I'm absolutely useless at skinning. Seriously. I checked the search engine and found nothing...

Before you go and refuse to take the advice of everyone here which you continue to do, really take a moment think about it everyone giving you this advice REALLY knows what they are talking about, try and make those skins yourself for one; secondly the map needs much more improvement on it so don't think you're done and just need the skins that is a bad mentality to have when making a map. Thirdly: you are cramming WAY too much stuff into this (I myself don't like the extra stuff anyway but that's just who I am) stick to ww2 and ONLY ww2, if you want make more modes go ahead but only make it for ww2.

I thought I'd be able to do them quick and easy when I got back from vacation, but I've been busier than I thought and it could take MUCH longer for the skins.

Now, I didn't want to sound mean or anything but as you said you've made 10 or so maps, and as far as I know they were not good quality and the rest you make will continue unless you follow everyone's advice that they've been giving you.

Since I have everything I needed to say aside, I'd like to say no I am not trying to be rude I'm just trying to help you make better maps.

P.S. you won't find any ww2 skins anywhere as far as I know.

Firstly - what should I make the Hero Assault mode then? There's nothing else really to make it unless I make wave mode which I'm not sure how to do.
Secondly - I have attempted to make the skins but they look really painted.
Thanks for the advice as well, I am taking it on board but if every mode is the same it gets boring.
And maybe if I get more of this advice about changing it maybe I should stop making it..

Hero Assault could be different WW2 generals and other high ranking officers squaring off.

that's what I wanted to do at the start but how am I going to get the skins for them?
I'm a rubbish skinner as I've said countless times but I still try to do it but I end up doing it all wrong..

Then keep trying, I was horrible when I started skinning but eventually I got good at it.

Maybe the imp officer. As a first try, try to make:
-His uniform darker. (and possibly make it look leathery)
-Give him blond hair.
-Try to give him the Nazi cross (I don't know the English word for it) on his upper arm.
-Make him look more pale
-Try to see if you can let the cheekbones come out more.

I know this sounds like a stereotypical officer, but it's something.

that sounds hard but I'll try it.
Good news everyone! I've added locals - civilians that live in the tatooine town that are there in conquest and zombie mode. Finally things are coming together (except for the skins :x )

That was the word. I had it in my mind, but I didn't want to make a language mistake concerning such an important/sensitive subject.

No, that is not what he's asking himself; he wonders how he's going to get them made. (whilst considering that he would have to learn to skin, so that he can make them himself).

I've made a quick re-skin of the alliance enginner, turning him into a Nazy trooper.
If you want, drop me by PM:

Bad quality image(jpeg).

I could turn him into an officer..but i'm lazy =P

PS: The skin is for historycal representation only. I'm not a nazy sympathizer.

Well there is a Nazi (iron) cross too. This symbol here:

is that really necessary :?

germans may have different feelings towards this symbol than other people, but it just feels wrong in my opinion

That's probably why AQT suggested the Iron Cross, but yeah, it does seem wrong to me, too.

I do agree. It's a lot better to only use the iron cross. I hadn't thought of that solution. :(

I agree as well,, but not for personal values. I remember hearing that in Germany, any reference to the Nazi Party is strictly forbidden. I may be wrong...somebody confirm this for me please.

As a matter of fact, my Dad has a game called Blitzkrieg, and there was once a modding website for it. However, some mods were illegal for download in Germany, because they used references to the Nazi party with the Swastika, clearly visible on the flags on tanks, which it was back in World War II.

Back on topic:
But that Nazi Model....it's incredible, but he could be used for a Nazi Commando, because I don't rightly recall any soldier or officer with that kind of outfit; It actually looks more modern. Again, I could be wrong.
