The DC-15A Blaster Rifle is the main long gun that standard Republic Clone Troopers carry. I thing the DC-17a Blaster Rifle is what Republic ARC Troopers use (that may have been made up by someone on Wookieepedia, I want proof for it).

However, there is no such thing as a "DC-15B" (that default pistol is actually the Republic ARC Trooper's pistol (DC-17 whatever repeating hand blaster or whatever).

The DC-17p does not exist either. The "jet troopers" use standard DC-15S Blaster Carbines. The blaster that the "jet troopers" were going to have in SWBF/SWBF II is actually a DH-17 Blaster Pistol, seen in the old trilogy in the hands of Rebels and Imperials.

Hey Majin --- (off topic) - Do you know the name of that little pistol the Scout Troopers use in RotJ, as well as Leia's Pistol on Endor in that movie?

Yep, the Imperial Scout Troopers use Q-2s5 MOA Holdout Blasters.

Princess Leia used a Defender Sporting Blaster in both of those movies.

then what ELSE is a DC-17p? if it doesn't exist according to the Star Wars Universe, then I don't see any problems with that Pandemic has made their own up which matches in the other DC-17 Series - agreed?

No, it doesn't.

They made up weapons that were far away from other weapons and didn't get close to contradicting histroy (except a few which aren't accepted as SW, like the "E-17D Sniper Rifle").

Plus, YOU cannot make up SW, but they can.

Actually anyone has the right to make up SW. Obviously you can't put a guy in a banana suit and say it's star wars, because in that case you are actually "contradicting" SW, as in SW there were no bananas... but if you make a map of Ithor, then you can make it however you want as long as it resembles in obvious ways (such as their cities above earth and their huge trees.) That's my point of view, but obviously you'll disagree...

I agree completely except that I think making up a DC-17p is too close to contradicting, especially when all of the DC-series guns are known.

Plus, what would it look like?
