W.I.P. Pit Droid
I have recently created a Pit Droid model. "All" that is left is to texture it and finish rigging it. I plan on releasing it when it is done if anyone wants it. Here are some screenies (let me know what you think, but don't be too harsh, it's my first playermodel ever):
Front View: Side View:
Nice addition to the Attachment Feature.

Re: W.I.P. Pit Droid
Wow, pretty cool.
I'm not really in a possition to judge anyway, seeing as I've never tryed to make a player model.
You should probably smooth it out some, try the tweak tool, its quite helpful.
(not to mention fun
)
Good job though.

Re: W.I.P. Pit Droid
Thanks! I smoothed it out more, but then the polygon count soared. So I lowered it, and that is how it looks. I never used the tweak tool before, is there a tutorial on it? Or is it self-explanatory?

Re: W.I.P. Pit Droid
Nice model! The chassis is a bit too tall and fat though, especially in the side view
Keep on the good work!

Well, I don't know how fast your internet it, but I learned alot (including how to use the tweak tool) from these Noesis tutorial videos.Challenger33 wrote: I never used the tweak tool before, is there a tutorial on it? Or is it self-explanatory?![]()

I've only watched the first two, (downloaded them) I don't think the other two would be useful to SWBF2 modelers.

Who doesn't love Pit Droids?
I didn't think it was fat though...anyway, I finished lining up the model with the bones. Now to envelop the mesh...
P.S. Thanks for the comment!

Re: W.I.P. Pit Droid
1) I didn't know there was a Pit Droid in JKA, lol
2) Isn't it hard to convert models?
3) I just need someone to export it (I will work on the texture later, lol)

Re: W.I.P. Pit Droid
Not if its comunity made, you should ask permission from the author, but unless its a shipped JKA model, you don't need to involve lucas.
