Ok, i just downloaded the BF2 Mod tools off filefront, and whenever I try to open the mod tools, i get this message:
The procedure entry point_BinkDX9SurfaceType@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll.
Note: This is the BF2 mod tools and NOT zero editor.

http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... inkw32.dll
Next time use the search function located conveniently at the top of all pages...

Again, the thread above yours clearly named "Everything you need".

did that last night and when I ran the .exe, what came up was a mini windowed version of Battle front 2 and not the mod tools.
the mini BF2 was exactly like jus regularly running Battlefront 2 in a window, but about three times smaller, it even played maps! it isnt a mod tool.

Read the Getting Started.doc that's included in the modtools documentation folder, it'll tell you what you need to do, you're trying to run the debug exe which is not the modtools.
