Controllables

Post by Tuskenjedi »

As you all know quite well, to be frank, turrets can be controlled and manned via turret chair. Yes, yes, I know how to do such a thing but my question is, "Is it possible to substitute turrets with things that could move, like recon droids or vehicles?"
If you can answer this and maybe explain how if possible I would gladly appreciate it.

Yes. Set a vehicle to pilot type remote. Sending a recon turret from a chair would be trivial since you can just send it from yourself, though...

This seems like an awesome idea. I was thinking it could be used to have remote rocket turrets on capital ships on space battles. Of course probably only the player would be able to use them, but it would still be awesome.

Yeah, but a lot cooler things could be controlled, larger scale, droid starfighers for example. Heck, even droids.

A lot more realistic for things that are two big to come out of a gonk.

hmm, what happens when you give a recon droid a-recon-droid-with-that-same-recon-droid as a weapon?

Or make yoda a vehicle?

This gives a practical way of piloting frigates.
