Just in case people don't know about this site
Just by coincidence I found an online storage site called dropbox that is very simple to use. It gives you 2GB of free space and you can buy more.

You provide email, name, and a password

2 GB of space is what you get for free. you can get 50 GB for 10$ USD per month (about 7 Euros) or 100 GB for 20$ USD a month (about 14 euros)

I reccomend that people needing a place to store and upload assets should check this out. It integrates itself into Windows Explorer so there is no upload size limit.

SkyDrive is free and gives you 25GB of space, you only need a free Hotmail email account to get started. There is however a 300 MB limit on uploads for non Windows 7 users(they get up to 2GB) but this is not a problem since you can upload split archives to bypass this limit.

MediaFire is also a good file host; the features can be read in the FAQ but these are the important ones:
  • What size files can I upload?
    • Free users can upload files up to 200MB in size...Image files can be no larger than 25MB and 20000x14200 pixels in dimension for both Pro and free users.
  • How long does Mediafire store files?
    • ... For free accounts, there is currently no time limit on how long uploaded files will be stored as long as you access your account (i.e. login to your account) or your files are being accessed (i.e. downloaded)...
Users receive at least 4 notification emails that files are pending deletion before any deletion actually occurs. Logging into your account is sufficient to prevent deletions.

There is also no waiting or filling out a CAPTCHA before downloading files
