Elder Scrolls V confirmed as a direct sequel?
This is really good news. I just hope they mean it's an RPG title, not some rehash MMO style game.

European reports indicate Bethesda's next big project will be a "chronological" follow-up to award-winning 2006 fantasy RPG.
Lol, "European reports..."
I can't wait for TES:V!!! I loved Oblivion.

That was awesome. This should be a great follow up, and by the sounds of it they will use good actors for the NPC's. I think that was Max Von Sydow in the trailer, a very good actor.
Edit: No more Gamebryo engine.
Elder Scrolls V will use 'all new' game engine

I really hope they bring back some of the elements from Morrowind.

If youre in the USA you might want to pick up GameInformer's February or January issue, it has about 20 screenshots and some interesting information(Ive seen some leaked pictures/scans, but I dunno if Im allowed to post them here).

I'm pretty sure the mods are fine with it since we posted the Halo Reach leaked pics.

The shots of the character's remind me a bit of Conan, and the tour of the studio is amazing. That is the dream job, being paid for what your passionate about.

I hope they fix/skip the npc on npc conversation.... And use more than 4 voice actors
Not sure I'll play it though, Oblivion was one of those time-consuming games, where at some point you realise you're not having fun anymore but just want to have lvl 99 conjuring...

Hopefully there'll be a collectors edition with some nice extras(art book)... Id buy it, never mind the price.
Modtools are confirmed, too! I need to improve my art skills to an acceptable level for this. *walks off to do some more anatomy studies*

I'm so glad their bringing Modtools out for this.
Collector's edition would be cool, but can be a bit overpriced. Nevertheless, I'll be there on release day.

I particularly like the last picture... the npc characters are a big improvement from Oblivion.
