I think he means if you change the class name (odf name) to something already used in the game (let's say rep_inf_rifle) it will already have it localized. Or something like that.

Well yeah, but as far as I know there is no shock mine already used in the game. I could be wrong though.

Fionwe's odf is this: rep_weap_inf_shokmine_despenser
change it to : Shockmine Dispenser
Ingame this name then stands there.

Well, it's not exactly a new model, but the other day I noticed a Republic skin for the speeder bike from the GCW maps sitting in the assets, so you could just use that speeder bike with the Republic skin instead of the barcspeeder.

I don't think that method supports spaces....but otherwise it works....I used it in a cancelled mod...

Awesome, thanks. One thing that needs to be tested is Geonosis and the +123 mod. Both of those had some crashes with parts of this mod, and Geonosis crashes anyways for me, so I need that to be tested. The +123 mod crashed on places like Jabba's palace, in some of the modes added. I need that to be tested, too. Thanks.
I'll try out the idea again, thanks for the tip Pinguin.

But why can't you make a mission.lvl? I've never made a mod; do new mission.lvl's mess up the game or something?

For the reason that my mission.lvl seems to have messed up the loading screens for som maps, especially space mygeeto. There is only a black screen while it loads, so I've tried to avoid having to create a new mission.lvl for the mod. Normally they don't mess up the game, just when I create them! lol

I know this is a bit of a bump, bit it's still within the limit.
I have only received a review from 3 of the beta testers so far; are you guys still out there?
I am trying to make a mission.lvl, since it became apparent to me that without it the mod will crash the game frequently, due to the low shipped memory pool values. I'll also edit the lua of each map so that the CIS has around 20 more units than the Republic, since the latter has such an advantage.
Playing as a Jedi, I have found that 3 out 5 times, doing the sprint and then jumping will crash the game. Would that be a memory pool issue?

Ah, I see. Well, no problem, it's fine. I can't play the mod anymore for more than 5 minutes on low settings in Coruscant, without a crash. :/

I have to make an apology and explanation to those who were looking forward to this side mod. Due to the fact that my game will not read my custom mission.lvl, no matter what I try, the mod overloads the shipped memory pool values for the maps.

The side always manages to crash any shipped map I play it on, on low settings, within varying time periods. The longest I've managed to play without a crash was 20 minutes, on Hoth XL, CW era. For now at least, I am cancelling the mod, and will not be relasing it for some time. I have too much school work to do, as well as some other things outside of school, so my time is very limited.

I will keep working on it, slowly, as my time allows, but unless I can get a working mission.lvl into the game, it won't be for a long time.

I was looking forward to this mod, sorry to here its not working right, but than again if it doesn't work than theres not much you can do. Maybe sometime in the future you can start working on it again and fix your problem.
