Need skin names!

Post by Syth »

Okay, this isnt a "I cant get my custum skins to work" topic -
My problem is that some skins for the "officer_gray", "atstpilot", and the skin for the secret bacta gun arnt working, even though they are in the sides MSH folder. I looked it over and they dont look diferent from any other MSH.

Anyone know how to fix this?

For one, they're not an .msh, so if you saved them as that, and not .tga, they won't work.

That aside, are you making sure you're calling it correctly in the ODF?

Short of more information, your best bet may be to clean your mod and then remunge (especially if you've just done some extensive work with skinning).

Make sure that they ae the exact same name as the original ones. The .msh file calls for the original files, and if you change the name, it won't work.

To get the gray officer working you rename the skin to test_inf_officer.

Okay know I need the Bacta Guns skin name. I know I have the right skin but its the pandemic gave the wrong name.
For the people that dont know what im talking about its a hidden gun in the assets. I would just download from -_-'s filefront but filefront is working for it. So if someone has it working could you give me its skin name? that would be really helpful.

You do have the gun's .MSH right? Here's a very good tip Rekubot gave me:
Rekubot wrote:If you want to find the .TGA files a .MSH file uses open it up with Notepad and hit Ctrl+F. Then search for 'tga' and it will tell you the files that are required.
