Teleporting isn't like Startrek teleporting.

Teleporting is actually used so that you can get from one room to another that has a wall in between it or in some way to make it convenient for you to build a more efficient map. The transition is very smooth.

Its mostly used to iron out technical map difficulties.

For example, MercuryNoodles is making a space map with complete interior. I don't know for sure if he's going to go through with this plan but its just a theory. Obviously, there's no easy way to connect the main interior to the bridge. So instead of making stairways and pathways or elevators or something of that nature, he has a teleporter that looks like an elevator interior that transports you to the bridge. 100x easier.

Like the way this is looking Rends.

I was wondering if you would consider fixing that freezing glitch with the Mos Eisly map. Other than that it seems complete. I have another suggestion or two but that's not necessary.

Your Coruscant map is generally good. There's a few things I would change in some of the building models to make it more detailed, particularly adding more polys, particularly the space port and the ships and what not. I would change the textures also to make them more detailed which I see you've been working on.

Fragme! has an interesting Coruscant building that he might like to share, you should inquire upon that.

And to add to AceAzm5's list, we've also taken up converting JKA models to SWBF2 (JKA models made by modders mind you).

Glad to see you're back :P

I wouldn't think the map is that oriented for an escape type map, plus why would the empire shoot the civilians? how can they rule if everyone else is dead?

I don't like it so much. Maybe its cuz the textures feel flat. flying around in cool speeders eventually gets old...

If you want I can give you the model + skin (the skin's not to good, but I have improved it somewhat since then)

I LOVE this map. It was one of my favorites in SWBF1, and now it's only improved of course for SWBF2. Love it! So glad it's back.

Just going through the forums to see if there are any updated versions of maps I have, thought I'd comment. =)

If this map were to ever be updated, here's what I'd suggest:
1) Most important: Thire's 65th on CW Conquest, Appo's 501st on CW CTF.
2) Magna-Guards with magna-staves and capes.
3) Shaak Ti and Grievious for CW heroes, Blue Guards and Magna-Guards for unlockables.
4) Luke and General Brashin for GCW heroes, Wedge and Red Guards for unlockables.
5) CW Hunt mode with Grievious and Magnas vs. various Jedi.
6) GCW Hunt mode with Elite Rebel Troopers vs. Imperial Officers.
7) A neutral, non-hostile 3rd side composed of civilians, allied with Republic and Rebels.
