Oh No!!!! Cannot play level!

Alright, as everybody knows, Linus gave up on the Clone Wars and I'm supposed to finish it. Well, I can't do this if I can't edit it! So, I put in the new sides and world file and edit the lua so its just like his! I munge with common check box checked, and then munge without it checked, then I start BF2 and then I go to Instant Action, and start the map, and halfway through loading, it crashes!!!
Help me please!

Use the BF2_modtools first then go to (in the same directory) the Bfront2 and open it. There it will tell you what's wrong. ignore level 2. 3's are what you need to look 4. Also if you're still stumped. Copy and Paste in a post, so others can help.

Can you give us a more detailed problem, like why you said you can't edit it? And can't you just take the files he gave you and munge them, even if you can't edit them?

Ok, what I mean crazy tie guy is that I cannot play my level! I can edit it but cannot play it!

As Moving_Target said, post the error log. A map crashing while it's loading could be almost anything. We can't be of much help without more information.

Maybe you misplaced the Mod Tools as I once did.
Do you have these files in your 3 letter folder?
Core.lvl, mission.lvl, common.lvl, addme.script, and world file?

We all know that you can edit it, but cannot play it. That won't help us find out
why you can't play it. First: Did you change the name from what Linus called it? If not, then
PLEASE run it with BF2_Modtools.exe and post the auto-generated file BFront2.log (Find it in the GameData folder.)
Maybe then we can help.
