[WIP] Rhen-Var: Hidden Research Labs.

I made up the name as I made this post. It's a very misleading name, actually.
Story
that I just came up with...:
In the waning days of the clone wars, a garrison of republic scouts exploring the icy world of Rhen-Var discovers a research lab, long abandoned, hidden in the ice and snow. Inside they find what the builders had been researching: a new form of weaponry, designed for intense close-quarters guerilla warfare. However, before they can escape with their amazing discovery, the CIS unit that has been tracking them from orbit joins the hunt that could change the outcome of the clone wars...

Map: 75-ish% (depends on feedback I get once the beta is out)
Planning: 90%
Sides: 45% (a good deal of the work is done, but to save the trouble of error hunting I haven't integrated it yet)

Woh, that looks amazing. I hope the bots actually take cover and not just shoot while charging into the enemy.

That's my favorite part! I was having no end of trouble with planning, and now even the hintnodes are working! The cover is custom by me, and a lucky guess of height means that you can shoot through the gap in it while crouched.

Just gonna put it out there that a lot of the textures don't really match up. You should make em all seem sort of Rhen Var-ish. After you do that, the map is PERFECT!

the pictures look nice, do you still have an outdoor part in the map (like Polus Hidden Caverns or Hoth), or is the whole map indoor

It's all interior, and the actual map is very small, right now almost all of the fighting happens in one hallway, but it gets pretty intense. I'm going to up the reinforcements to 300 or so for each team, and see if it ever gets out of that hallway. From testing I can say that the map right now is pretty violent. I'm going to post updated pics later if I can get them working, but some of you may not want to look at the carnage.

I would, but using the interior assets doesn't give me a lot of flexibility. I'd have to make a gigantic loop around the entire map just to add one hallway, so I don't think that's going to happen too soon, although I might make a short side tunnel.

Map: same as before.

Still to do outside of those things:
Up reinforcement count, It hardly ever gets past the hall of doom.
Fix texture bug with grenade launcher
Textures
Release beta.
Any opinions?

Yeah, I still need to retexture the snowdrifts. I found a three-way piece in the hoth assets so I'll add on that second tunnel negah suggested.
