You probably have too many missions; remove some maps from your addon.MileHighGuy wrote:i get a fatal error when i try to play this map in any mode
Just as a heads-up; remember that the limit is technically a mission limit, not an addon map limit (although there is one of those too). A single addon can have any number of missions - the Conversion Pack has about 300; a map with only CW conquest has one. This particular map has up to seven missions (CW, GCW, KotOR, DT Conquest, GCW hunt, DT Conquest [Aquilaris], DT Assault [Aquilaris]) that may be loaded at any given time (fewer may be loaded depending on your addon configuration).MileHighGuy wrote:yea i removed a good amount of maps already but ill guess ill have to remove some more
Yes, I disabled that particular Fake Console command so that people would have to (more) legitimately do the first section.simplestarwarsfan wrote:Hidden/Spoiler:

I am not sure exactly what you are describing. What I did was create, essentially, a pinwheel with no center. I used a rotating collision to create the illusion of wind. It's not a perfect solution, as you mentioned, but there is no perfect solution (and in my opinion there is no better solution, having thought through a number of them) in a game that doesn't have a lot of real physical interaction with the environment.Null_1138 wrote:BTW, what did you make the fans out of? The collision is a little odd, sometimes I get pushed and cant move, others I can run right through. Not bad, but just intriguing.
If I had to guess, I'd say you modeled a cylinder, and gave it a completely transparent texture. Then you had it animated to move like an escalator, once its done moving through the fan and into the player, it turns around (over his head, perhaps) back to the fan, and it cycles. The fan model itself has a "wind-blowing" effect. Am I right?
