*cough*Americaftw

Sorry, I just had to be obnoxious.

When I saw the arguement about the figure skating going-in-circles thing and comparing it to any racing sport, I was tempted to spam NASCAR over and over. :P

I was quite upset about that. Lysacek may have had more flair, but technically Plushenko surpassed him. The judging is really messed up. Yahoo said it first and said it true: figure skating died yesterday.

Har Har. I'm not upset completely because of Russia. I'm upset because the judgudicial system allowed an easier skate to do better than a harder one because of artistism (which is an opinion). The opinion thing worries me also because the judging panel is American and Canadian.
Plushenko wasn't great. But I think the Japanese fellow in bronze and plushenko shouldve done better than Lysacek because they had technically challenging dances, as opposed to Lysacek, who didn't do a few spins because he can't.

I see your point with the judging... another reason I dislike sports with a judging panel.

2nd gold medal for the Netherlands! :D Everyone expected Shain (?) Davis to win the 1500m ice-skating, but instead, a 'simple dutch boy' named Tuiterd conquered the throne! :) Go cheeses!

It's "Shani". And yes, that was an unexpected win. I also heard that sonce one Dutch athlete got the gold, the entire nation's elictricity bill gets redduced. Do I have the facts straight?

It's a very fast game.

Has anyone seen the video with Sven Framer after he won his event?
Reporter: who are you, where are you from, and what did you win?
Sven: Are you stupid?

This is the kind of thing that has turned me off on sports, btw.
After a college football game, half my highschool would be happy, the other half would be saying things like this nonstop for days.

Nonetheless, I'm pretty sure Babcock is unhappy with how he's been playing thusfar, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Luongo in net next game.
