This may seem like a noobie question but I`ve never figured out how to use foliage. How do I use it?

Hidden/Spoiler:
[GameObjectClass]

ClassLabel = "grasspatch"
GeometryName = "editor_grasspatch.msh"

[Properties]

MinSize = "1.2"
MaxSize = "1.6"
Alpha = "1.0"
NumParticles = "60"
MaxDistance = "30"
Texture = "yav_grass"
RadiusFadeMin = "3.0"
RadiusFadeMax = "4.0"

DarknessMin = "0.2"
DarknessMax = "0.4"

Layer(0)

{

SpreadFactor(0.1);

Mesh()

{

GrassPatch("nab_prop_grass.odf", 50);

File("editor_grasspatch.msh", 50);

Frequency(100);

Scale(1);

Stiffness(0.0);

}

}
This is what the odf looks like, I painted foliage around the map but nothing was there in game.

Could you post your world's PRP file? (If you don't know what that is, then you didn't follow all the steps)

Why are you asking me what a PRP file is? Did you not read what Oceans14 said? If not, why? You posted a thread asking a question, Oceans14 responded with a link to the relevant documentation, and you (seem to have) ignored it. Why? Why would you ignore it? I don't get it. :cpu:

If you did what Oceans14 said to do and checked out the "FOLIAGE EDIT" section of zeroeditor_guide.doc, you'd know what the PRP file is and wouldn't need to ask. I'm not going to post the relevant sections from it here. I'm assuming you're not a young child, you can go ahead and find and read them yourself. Here, I'll even provide you with a direct link to the section he referred to: https://sites.google.com/site/swbf2modt ... -EDIT-MODE

Look, I hate to sound so harsh, and I apologize for it. This community is more than willing to help you get started with the mod tools and troubleshoot any problems you may have, but come on, man, this is ridiculous. Self-sufficiency will go a long way for your success in this hobby. But, as Tom Cruise famously said...
