I was just wondering, while I know it's possible to have more than three factions on land maps, I was wondering if you could do the same thing on space maps? Obviously, not all of them would be playable, but I was wondering if you could still go ahead and do it on a space map?

You mean locals and AI Ambushes and such? I think it's possible. Not sure, but I think maybe they did it in the campaigns somewhere as an AI ambush.

Ok, thanks. You know, I seem to remember Mav did something similar in Space Rakata Prime, but I could be mistaken.

As has been mentioned several times before: space maps are essentially no different from land maps. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to add locals or ambushes to a space map.
