No there's a limit in native use, however there are workarounds. One possible option would be to use the command line and remote desktop (RDP) to your Hyper-V virtual computer and specify the screen resolution that way. For example you could try something like:

mstsc /v:SOME_VIRTUAL_MACHINE_NAME_OR_IP_ADDRESS /w:1600 /h:900

You could also use /f for fullscreen or /span to "span" across all monitors.

Also, I don't believe you can use drag and drop with Hyper-V, it was like that for a long time. You'll have to stick to network file sharing or some other alternative.

So you used RDP and set a custom resolution but it still didn't work? And you also tried it on the technical preview? Or are you just speculating.

with RDP it worked. I needn't to set up an custom resolution, it worked from the first second i used the RDP. I have the technical preview and when i connected with Hyper V i got directly the Full resolution.

So everything is good with the resolution? No problems?
