i know that he sayed that, bit i think the reason he did was that he thought
mswf used some technique in blender to smooth edges, which he didnt
the alternative to what
mswf did is disconnecting edges or marking them hard in XSI
@mswf:see? i always typed it right

Anyway as I mentioned there are many ways to do many things, and without seeing a wireframe it is hard to tell how the polies are being smoothed especially on the top of the helmet.
Perhaps we should have a tips and tricks topic but for now we should get this one back on topic.

Just for fun, the 200 frames took ca 70 minutes to render with 1920x1080, 3 lights and 554752 Triangles.

argh! this would have chocked my pc to death within second!
it looks just great
in case "contructive criticism" is not unneeded here: the bright light in 0:04 is a bit too intense for my taste, imao reducing the intensity would make it feel more elegant, but thats the last nitpicking-resort

I love the emblem, I just wish it was at a low enough polygon count to use in SWBF

Pandemic. (Yes I know that is not what you're asking, but it
is a stock model.)

Unlucky.... correction, if it is what i think, and it is unlucky, it must be the IG-
86 that got it´s arm cut by Anakin in Downfall of a Droid.

Was browsing through Wookieepedia and I saw this so just thought I'd make one.
The sphere is from the Tie Interceptor the rest is new.
TIE HUNTER
Landed Position

Flying Mode

What a coincidence, I'm actually in need of a TIE Hunter model.

It's looking really great, well done, Fragme!!

@Mav: Pandemic made the
texture yes.
@AgentSmith: Spot on!
@Lephenix: I remember u said in ur post *Yes I believe it is IG-88* before an edit right? so yeah, it is also an IG droid, but more specific
@Labj: Hehe, I admire people who think thoroughly thru things like this, sadly though, it is not an IG-86 model
Cookie for Agent and Lephenix! (Mav and Labj can have a nibble)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, sry I don't want to bother with a full body wireframe, since most of the model is Pandemic, but the wireframe of the hand as u can see:
Is too high poly for Pandemic, cus I made it. More to see in the future
