No there wasn´t an offical announcement at LA board and still no announcement at the PC board yet.
But it´s mentioned on the LA support website.
Bad thing is that lot of downloads from LA ftp servers are corrupt. Not sure if this happened only to the patch versions for other languages than english but i dl it twice from LA and got the unknown error message during install like many others too.
Then i went to 3dgamers and downloaded the patch there and it works perfectly.
And yes it´s funy to hear that you didn´t knew about it,lol.

I downloaded the 1.2 from Lucasarts ftp site, thanks to a thread Radioactive_Man posted in the BF/PC forum, and it is not corrupted... at time of writing this, they have not announced the client patch but it definately works, I have been playing online and the lights in Echo Base are back to normal

nice work
and will there be an option to run the editor in high resolution, say 1600 1200 at all, as it stands at the moment it is stuck in a 1024 768 window.

The link on the main page at 3d gamers seems to work best at this point
http://www.3dgamers.com/games/swbattlefront/downloads/
If you find a better link let me know , I will update it... I may offer the file here if there are enough requests

guru well i think filefront is offering a "FIXED'' version so that might work
ps the devs said to download it from there so maybe thats the best one
anyways if u already downloaded a curruped file can u just get the betterr one and overwrite ur game?

FRED - that updated BFBuilder sounds amazing.
You basically just answered my question in another forum about changing some Hoth Imperials colour from white to red, effectively creating the Crimson soldiers.
Once this is out, I won't have to worry about that complication - excellent news!!!
