Hello. I'm Par3210, the creator of WW2 Battlefield. This map includes many features: including:
Custom Sides
New Weapons (such as Machine Guns)
A Campaign (very detailed)
A quick and easy to use installer
A bonus map including the great, often-played Prison Break mode.
3 different modes:
Conquest (Conquest with WW2 units - LOTS of units, not meant for online play!!!!!)
RPG Mode (Play in a friendly RPG style place!)
Zombies Vs Humans mode (Read the description on Page 4)

Remove things that do not fit in with the WW2 theme

Zombie Mode up and running!
New Skins are being used!
Campaign has been scrapped due to campaigns not working! Instead will be Uber Assault!
Uber Mode up and running! With awesome units!
On Uber Mode we have the uber troops WORKING!
The German Officer has had his weapons all updated!
Zombie Mode - Finished!
Conquest mode - Waiting for skins
RPG mode - crashing, trying to fix...
RPG mode - fixed, :mrgreen: adding RPG characters with Dann Boeing style stuff!
Awesome characters now featured!
Republic Commandos have been added to the battle! :clone:

Great concept, but this is going to take alot of effort. Here's my suggestions:

-Change the sky
-Change the Yavin terrain
-If you want a World War 2 feel, you're going to need to reskin the troops. I know for a fact German troops did not dress in the same clothes as Imperial officers, and Allied troops did not dress like the Rebel Alliance
-Add some objects so you can't see where the map ends.

looks nice

some trees and other natural stuff would be cool
and maybe some mountains or hills that make paths between your locations

default sky default lighting default skins default textures default units. honestly i fail to see how this is a ww2 project. Its a good :quotes: first map practice as ping said. to be honest it looks like a map mav would comment on at swbf files and say "this looks like a map where the author practiced placing objects" which i would say is fine as long as you strive to improve. the base is a nice layout and generally the map is a nice idea but custom skins and a new sky (the yavin sky urks me to no end particularly used in combination with squipples objects) would make it loads better. I dont mean to be too harsh in reviewing an early wip, just keep up the good work :)

Wow, this is 50% already? My team and I have been working on 2 maps for the whole summer now, we only have finished 2 of the sides and some gameplay physics (no they aren't really physics I just don't really have a better name for them :roll: ). To add on to what obi said I really don't see how this is World war 2.

For one there weren't just 3 types of soldiers in the war (in fact in my sides I had to cut down and not use loads of different kinds of weapons), there weren't just 3 sides, you are completely forgetting the Pacific war and the Eastern front in Russia where really the war was decided (and no D-day did not really impact the war it was far too late and the Russians were already pouring down on Germany by then).

Also the map itself should be your first priority if this is just a random one time project then make the map better first (as already said change the sky and it will look 10x better than before).

Lastly I did not write this to be rude or mean but I know this map has potential as many do, although it is not tapped into, Also since we are both doing a similar type project I may be able to lend you some skins and some help in general. Best of luck on your mod and if you do want those skins (it would take me maybe 10 minutes when I get back from vacation to make them).

Par - This map has a lot of potential. But you haven't gotten there yet.
I know you've heard this a lot, but here are my suggestions:
- Change the Sky
- Change the Terrain
- Change the Units
- Use more Strategic Object Placement
- Put work into it. This is like your 11th map, right? No offense, but instead of making 11 20% good maps, make ONE Good map.
- Make AI Planning
- Learn to Skin
- Don't give up

As I said clearly, I am going to change the sky, I'm just finishing off the map first.
@Fierfek, I am doing all of that. I'm collecting some earth guns to use. Just give me some time.

If you do zombies, I already have some sides set up that I would be happy to donate. You just have to credit me and if you release assets you can't include the zombies.

You've got a lot of jagged and unnatural-looking terrain. Use the height blend tool to fix that up. Also, add a little height variation to those flat areas (such as in your first picture).
