Its finally out! This map has actully been done for a week now but Lucasfiles hasn't put it up for some reason... Thank goodness for Game Toast!! You can play as Jango Fett or Obi-Wan Kenobi (I know the Obi wan skin looks wierd but in the heat of battle you can't tell  ) The map is laid out more like the Kamino seen in Episode II. Hope everyone enjoys it. Let me know what you think! Thanks Game Toast for getting it up so soon!

ok, A: the E-33 blaster is WAAAAAYYYY too powerful, B: The force push takes forever to recharge, C: I personally believe the flamethrower goes too far, and D: Jango has unlimited Fuel, where as obi-wan has a jet jump that takes forever to recharge... lil unfair, If I remember correctly final score was 100 to one and that was first time I played it... obi wan got pwned...

other than that, I luved the map, and I loved the scripture everywhere

Flying the Falcon was fun. I enjoyed it but that second position was odd. Fixing that would be good.

Anywho... very nice job, lots of fun, cool weapons and such, nice skinning.

I didn't have a Slave I ship, so it was the next best things. Plus it was neat! :P

I did have some trouble getting the units to even out. I didn't want them to be exact in power with just different weapons. I couldn't have the force push reload time to short or the AI just pushes you around forever and if I made obi-wans blaster to powerful the AI never used force push.

If it is to easy for you try putting it on hard, I notice it makes it level out some what more. If you already have it on hard... well then your just to good a Battlefront player! :D When I was making the map I also figured for online play. Since people vs people would probably make it completely different. I am glad you like it, and thanks for noticing the scripture! :) (I think thats why lucasfiles wouldn't take it) Oh well there lose.

Thanks everyone for your opinions!!

Its awesome how you can jump out of the vehicles in mid flight by hitting eject twice. Howdya do it?

Job well done. The layout is nice and so are the units, even if the skinning is a bit off. I enjoyed the weapons but Obi Wan's force push and jump need a faster recharge in my opinion. The whole idea was very creative and I liked that you stuck that little video in for the "preview."

As a little sidenote, I am glad that you put the scripture in the level. I'm with ya, even if others aren't. :)

Ok, well done, and fruity, you can always do that...:? and I think that the E-33 should be replaced by a missle, with 2 or 3 reloads, but I can see the push dilema... I have solution tho... just make force push quicker, not super-quick, but quicker shot delay, and only 3 shots per reload, so shoot 3 times, wait 5 seconds to reload, shoot 3 times, etc. but that are my 2 cents after your reply.

On this note:

I totally agree, and I'll back you up til the end! btw, Vyse, do you have msn/xfire?

EDIT: Just checked out your site, will that Hyrule Castle/Hyrule village be out soon? and will you be able to play as link?

Hey Vyse,

Nice map. I really like the idea behind it, however one would get the idea that perhaps you're not a big fan of the Jedi.
I kinda felt that the Jango way overpowered the Obi-Wan. I agree with the earlier posts about the recharge rates for the Force push and Jump powers. His health recharge is also VERY slow, making it a little too easy for Jango's awesome weapons to kill him.
I would also add that I'd prefer the Force push to be as the first Secondary weapon instead of mapped to the left mouse button. I found when playing as Obi-Wan the blaster was the best weapon I had in my arsenal ("How un-civilized!") and I was never able the get close enough to even use the lightsaber before getting killed.
I was able to quite easily win when playing as Jango. I think his weapons are great and I personally love the unlimited jets (although I understand why others don't like it)
I really enjoy playing the Bothan Jedi on Majin Revan's Geonosis:Containment map. If you could make the Obi-Wan character more like this, I think it'd be more fun (IMHO) to play as the jedi. I also like the sound effects in Majin's map for the Force push. Maybe he'd let you borrow
I thought it was kinda cool seeing the Falcon used in a map, and don't have any real objections to it being here, but I don't think Slave 1 would be very hard for somebody to model. I would offer my skills but I don't have XSI. My experience is with 3DS and Maya.
As far as the Scripture in the map, I don't have objection to it in principle, but it does kinda toss you out of the whole Star Wars experience for a second. (The Zelda stuff is a little over the top for me. Perhaps you could try leaving your marks in a less conspicuous way. I.E. on top of a building where you've gotta look to find it. Kinda like an Easter Egg!)

Well, that's my two cents worth. (Two cents buys a lot, eh!)
Enjoyed the map, and hope to see more from you!

Great job! Joe-B-Wan

Ugh, is this map preachy enough? I have nothing against your religion, but come on- sticking it in random places in Kamino? That's just a wee bit overboard. I found it quite offensive, being a Buddhist myself. Psalms have no business around my and many other people's gaming time; and I hope you guys can respect that. It also takes you out of the game for a sec... I'm pretty sure that Obi-Wan has never heard of John 3:16 before.

Ugh. Very, very bad taste sticking it in here.

^Exactly. Besides which, not everyone who plays this map is Christian. I don't plan on being converted by a BF map. XD

I in know way mean to offend anyone. And in no way plan on converting or forcing religion on people. The versus are pretty far out of reach from the main parts of the map, so you won't be able to read them unless you go up close to them or go exploring. If you just play the map and get the CP so forth you won't be seeing them. As the creator of the map I like to stick these in because I can and it makes people think, thats all. I DON'T want to turn this in to some kind of debate of any sorts. So please take them for what they are and enjoy the rest of the map.

Like someone else in this topic said- try sticking them somewhere that's hard to reach. That way it's more of a bonus that a burden.

it's not a burden.... TheTao, you are buddihst? cool!

Yes, I am. Thank you. :D

But anyway, we should get back on topic. The map(minus bible) is a neat idea, although I still feel it would be better if it was WAAAAAY smaller and there could only be one Kenobi and one Jango at a time.
