looks a little too colorful. It looks like you only raised the RGB levels 4 each skin

I think there is a blank set of skins. I never found them, so I made my own.
You did an okay job, but take other segments of skins, cover up, blur, merge layers.

That will look good sometimes, but it may lose the battle-worn effect.

With that blank sniper I noticed that some of the patterns got trimmed off. Try selecting the colored part, desaturating it to black and white, then adjusting the brightness until it fits.
