This is not about the error you get if you don't have it in the gamedata folder. When i use it, the game starts up, but it is not in full screen, and the upper half of the screen is covered in a slightly transparent green rectangle. Is there anyway to fix this?

No, that's the way it's supposed to be, it's not the full version of BF2. The green part is part of the fake console.

I see then, but how do do people access free camera without using that version?

Download Zerted's Common.lvl and Ingame.lvl

This will enable you to use freecam and the fake console in the regular version of BF2.

Very nice. I got that a couple days ago

You can actually get rid of the green bar, but then all the menus, hud, etc are gone, and you have to CTRL ATL DEL to kill the exe.
