Alright, texturing this cheese doodle now. One 512x1024 texture and one 512x512 texture, I guess that is pretty good!

Yes! It's the important ship! The Battlestar Galactica!!!
Sry for the less details, but sw bf 2 can't handle with so much polygons.

Well until we see a wireframe of his models we can't accuse him of plagiarism.
These ships have been made many times by many people, it's possible he may have used those as a 3d rotoscope to make his own.

Can't you just download the model and set the shading to wireframe?

one wireframe is useless
you have to see redlines wireframe and sketchups to compare them

Also, imported models are triangulated by XSI, so if it is his, it should be primarily quads and n-gons. Plus the texture and their UV application is very similar if not exactly the same as the Sketchup models. The staff here knows exactly what to look for as they have had to do this several times in the past and several modelers here have called people out on plagerism and were correct.

At least with Maya, this system doesn't sound to hard to beat. However, the tools used to turn tris into quads and stuff I don't beleive is on the free version of XSI or Maya for that matter, but as usual I'm probably wrong.

Not making any judgments here but those models look very similar.

However I am glad to see people are using sketchup.

Yeah, that is pretty fishy. Even the angle of which he took his screenshots of the models are the same

I'm not entirely sure I believe you. Just two posts ago you wrote:

And you consistently post models that you say are "yours" despite having "modeled head as good as you!!!!!!!!"
http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 29#p247329
...and being called out on claiming someone else's models as your own:
