Is there a way to fix this or at least limit the frequency of it happening.

Save often. I've had this issue off and on too; the only real remedy is to save often.

i've tried lowering visiblilty and that has helped a bit also i've also tried not moving aroud much and that helps but i was just curious if there was a permanent or more proactive fix
