Will there be a Halo 3 for PC?

I have looked on the internet but everything I see is different. Some say there will be, some say there won't. Does anyone know the truth. Also if there is going to be Halo 3 for PC when will it come out?

If it comes out, it will come out. If it doesn't, nobody will care. 360 can support way better graphics than most standard issue PC's.

I'm guessing not, because if it were coming out it would have either now or in the next three months. Seeing as no one at Microsoft is talking about it, I'd say it's either not coming out or won't until waaaay after Reach hits the 360.
You might as well get a cheap 360 with the game if you just want to do campaign, Halo 3 itself is only like $20 nowadays. Just don't buy the DLC, if you want Legendary or Mythic 1 just get ODST, it comes with all the maps and packs including Mythic 2, which will never be available for download on Live.

I was afraid of that.
I guess I will get a 360. To bad Christmas just ended. Were can I get the best deal for one. Ebay?

Considering the high rate of problems with the earlier systems, I wouldn't trust eBay. The Arcade Model doesn't have a Hard Drive, but it's by far the cheapest of the consoles, I've seen it run from $100-200.

And that's why people who play PC games don't have "standard-issue" PCs.

I highly doubt it'll come out any time soon. Microsoft is smart keeping it only on the Xbox360 sadly. Halo 3 brings them's a whole lot of money each year, and the smart thing to do is get as much money as possible from it. So until the day Halo 3's income gets low enough, you won't see Halo 3 on the PC. And most likely any future Halo games. Just my thought though.
