How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
I can see they are (atleast partially) based on the lego models, I've worked with alot of Legos, and that piece is unforgettable.
The original ball and socket Toa arm.
Yes, they are based on lego models. I couldn't find a good picture online, but when I finished I finally did find a good picture. However, it was too late. Anyways, I hope you like it.
Quick question:
If I put this ingame should I change it or not?
Grevious' vehicle might require custom animations, but the sith infiltrator which is my favorite, will be easy to add an animation to unless of course the animation, which I doubt it does, determines where the ship shoots from. I can probably just use a arc-170 animation if someone will be kind enough to convert it.
I did model these after the lego's but I am happy to change them. I was actually looking for a good picture when I made them, so I'll change this right now.

Nice job.
lol yeah, have alot of old memories with that piece. Nice job BTW.
Here is another one I just realized I had. It's not very good, but I'll probably touch it up. The tails need a little work. I couldn't figure out how many there actually were even with some of the pictures. Also I just gave it a quick 2-sec texture, so its not all that great, but here it is.
The Gungan Sub

, I remember the pinching of the fingers, and how if you played with the Toa too long, the shoulder pieces would start snapping... None of mine have whole shoulders now .
Anyway, back on topic. They look awesome, even if they look lego-ey. I've actually been thinking about trying my hand at making a lego minfigure model .

Hehehe. The Toa's are fighting those bug-things! WHACKWHACKWHACKWHACKWHACK. Oh, they bite back! SLAMSLAMSLAMSLAMSLAMSLAM! Yeah those things were fun. I actually put a motor on Kopaka (good lord I even remember the names of those things) to make him a crazy slashing machine. It launched his sword at my head hehe.
*cough*

You could try and make a lego-star wars mod by using addon mshs for hair and helmets, lol. And the original megaphone weapon ofcourse.

ive considered that but me thinks its wayyy too hard
Ya, I might just make a whole era or mod for legos. I've just been over to England for a week (I'm still here) and this CG company wants to use some of my models,( not these ones, some better ones) so... That's got me really pumped up and I might just model a list of lego character's after I finish a surprise jedi, who I'm shocked no one ever made. So, he might be a little bonus if I do start making a map (no, he won't be lego.)
A giant maze for Silas' galactic conquest!
Close up of the maze!
Someone asked for a zoom in on the toa arm on grievious' wheel bike.
This model I didn't fully make. I tweaked it a bit though to make it look more realistic, did the backround, and the fur!
That's all for now!
