Weird Map Problem!
I have a weird problem with my map. When i load the map, it freezes about 6 bars into the loading screen. I have no munge errors, and no Message Severity: 3 errors. I'm not sure what the problem is
Anyone know how to solve the problem? Help would be great, thanks.

What OS are you using? Vista can cause problems.

Btw, when I try to run the program in the Bf2modtools program,(bf2log) it does the same thing, freeze about 7 bars into the loading screen. The only way i can close it after that is Ctrl-alt-delete Task manager.

Search through the SWBF2 General forum for Win7 information. There's a few things that can cause the game to stop working on that OS. Does normal BF2 work? Are you using the quick munge fix?

The munge fix is necessary to properly mod on Win7.

Re: Weird Map Problem!
okay, i ran munge fix, didn't work.( It has worked before on other problems, however...) But, i found some pages on this in GT, so i think i may know what the problem is! Could be that i maay have to delete some objects. i'll try and see what happens.Fiodis wrote:The munge fix is necessary to properly mod on Win7.

EDIT*
Okay, i got rid of some objects, didn't work. But here is something strange. After I munged the map again, i looked in the Visual Munge/Munge output window, and i found this:
File .. \..\..\worlds\rsm\world1\RSM_conquest.BAR not found; skipping
WHAT THE!?! So i checked the world1 folder after the munge, and RSM_conquest.BAR was there
Right now i have no clue what the problem is.
