Fierfek's Clone Wars Spec Ops Mod

I present to you: The CW Spec Ops Mod!
Origin:
I used the use the Elite Sides Mod (Delta-57 Dash), and I decided I wanted to make something like that. But I didn't want to make a sides mod, as that spawns the hassle of backing up files. So, I decided to create a new era for all the original BF2 maps. Thus, the Spec Ops Mod was born.
This will add the era CW Spec Ops to every single original BF2 map. You won't have to back up anything - this is just installed by putting it in the addon folder.
Now, onto the description:
Each side has been reskinned, and weapons have been changed. Every unit is done unless stated otherwise. Here is the full list (still working on the disguise kit):
Republic:
CIS:
Weapons:
That's all for now. And just in case you were wondering, this is about 60-70% done.
BUT WAIT!!! Here are the screenies (sorry, they are all from coruscant. I am still in the process of making all the scripts):
Credits:
Republic Spy:
AQT for the Skin
Clone Assassin:
ARC_Commander
Falco
Master|Rancor aka MetalcoreRancor
Pinguin/Aman
Support Clone Trooper:
Deviss-Rex
AQT
DarthDUCK
RepSharpShooter
Syth
Trandoshan:
Syth
Droid Commando:
Manderek
Captain Rex:
ANDEWEGET
Commander_Keller
DarthD.U.C.K.
Deviss-Rex
Oribtal Strike Grenade:
Hebes
And Deviss-Rex for the addme.lua and mission.req - Thanks!
Also, I don't know who made the caped magnaguard. I downloaded it from the assets links topic, but there was no readme included, and nothing on the page about the author.
Thanks GT'ers! That's all for now!
Estimated Finish Time: Monday July 27, 09
Comments/Feedback Welcome
Update:
All scripts finished.
Update:
Having some really weird problems with the scripts.
Spy's weapons changed - he will now have unlimited stealth as primary weapon, and orbital strike as secondary weapon. He will cost 12-17 points to unlock (trying to decide on points).
Update:
Okay, working on the script problems. Munging now.
Also, I am adding some smoke grenades onto some of the units.
Update:
THANK YOU MADEREK!!! Using Manderek's Droid Commando Model - works perfectly!
Update:
Okay, I have decided that if I am going to add an 8th unit, it will be in version 2. For this first version, I'll stick with 7.
And for the first version, there will be only 1 hero per side: Republic Commando for the Reps, and Jango for the droids.
Update:
It's all done! Have submited to Filefront - just waiting for Staff Member to review and publish now. Will post link when published.

Now I think I have seen this somewhere... like one trillion times.
Seriously though, do whatever you want, but I am personally very tired of these pimped Clone sides.

I kinda agree with Junkie, I do like these skins, but I think people should do a side mod for the GCW era.

The Droid side is amped as well.
But I am thinking of doing a part 2 for this in GCW - if I want to (not feeling much up to it now).

Well, there are a LOT of mods about the clones.
If you see wookieepedian users, many of them had the " This user belives that the clone troopers are awesome " thing, a lot of people likes the clone troopers.

Honestly guys? I'm all for the whole "sharing your opinion" thing, but this is ridiculous. What the above posts essentially said were "I've seen too many if these types of things, so I'm going to criticize the choice of project rather than the quality of the project." I've always been under the impression that these forums were to help one's work, not to tell them their project topic was good or bad. Just a thought, this post in no way was or is intended to attack anyone. Like I said, just a little food for thought.

Nice post.
And it's true. Believe me when I say that I could live and die without seeing more Clone Wars mods and I would be A-OK - but that's really irrelevant. You can choose to ignore or pay attention to a topic if you're not a fan, you do have that privilege. Modding is a choice we all make to do and create something
we personally enjoy, and no one really has a right to expect something one way or another from a mod. Make what you like, and you will like making it. Play what you like and if you don't see something you don't like, that's fine, you didn't do anything to deserve one in the first place because
these are all free.

IF you want any custom weapons done for this, I'll gladly volunteer my time.

MY feedback would be to complete your idea of a stealth style mode. Remove the radar, or at least make the new units not to show up on it. Increases the usefulness of your stealth weaponry. You could also have smoke grenades to give your guys cover.
Otherwise, a nice mod.

Hey Fierfek. I have some Empire skins that I was doing for a discontinued Spec Ops skin project. Would you like them? You may edit them to your hearts desire. Just find me on X-Fire (I have the same user name as I do here I think

These sides are looking quite good! However, I might recomend getting rid of/changing unlimited stealth, because while the concept is cool, Ithink he may be a bit overpowering if he's undetectable at all times, basicly.
