How would I reduce the file size?

I think I heard before delete all the side reqs I'm not using.

Is that right?

And is there other ways?

Thanks

You can cut the reqs individual files, and the main req, but you can also simply copy by hand all the files you are using, and place them into a one folder, and delete the unused stuff.

Make sure you have the .lua updated if your using this method.

If you have custom sides, then only leave in the req what you use in the game. What's not in the req doesn't get munged.

Also, use winRAR on the "best" compression setting to get it the smallest.

so I just delete the reqs I'm not using then take them out of the main req?

Delete what you're not using out of the reqs for custom sides.

Sorry for x2 post. But do you mean delete the reqs and then open that side lvl file in data_GT1/LVL_PC/Sides and delete the lines in there?

Also try compressing them into an .exe using this topic:

Let's say you modded the imp side. Open up the main imp.req. Remove the lines you aren't using. Clean and re-munge that side. That's all you need to do to make your new imp side much smaller.
