Well we have begun work on our last and final map for BF2 modding Geonosis A video trailer will be released soon. In the mean time here is a teaser pic for the level (Yes we are further than the required amount needed for a WIP) If an admin wants I will send them more pics to prove that we are. Anyway get ready for the most creative and epic Geonosis ever. Trust me it's nothing like you've seen before and we are pulling out all the stops in this one.

it's the inside of a cave

Well there have been a lot of Geonosis maps. But this has caves I love geonosis maps anyways. It's just a good planet to work with.

No it has some caves it has a little bit of everything but I will post more teaser pics soon (also it is excrutiatingly hard to get the map to actually look like Geonosis cause Geo has really subtle lighting and it's hard to recreate.

Here are 2 more teaser pics. I would like to say now that we will not be realeasing the unit, side and vehicle list for this map. It would spoil our big surprise so have fun looking at these and watching the trailer when it goes on FF.

These pics are making me think on how the map is, it looks like there is a mesa or maybe the map is in a canyon.

Also (sorry for the double post but this is urgent) I need someone to localize everything in all the languages. I will send you a list of everything localized in English and if that person could translate it into all the languages that the localize uses. Any one interested can pm me you also get to beta the map if you help localize. It will be on a first come basis.

I am now in control of this map (Yankfan did most of it up to this point). I have redone the lighting, planning/barriers, vehicle count, textures, object placement and more. Me and Yankfan plan to release this sometime in October or November. expect some really cool updated screen shots soon! It really looks completely different now! :duel:

a question: will the geonosians be fighting with the rebels in GCW mode?

no it will be a similar side from our Kashyyyk map.
