Really need help w modding

Aight all I'm really new to this so uhh yeah....
Basicly I'm used to Modding SWRC with UE
So among other things, I need help with making my own hero and getting vehicles to spawn

YES I DID READ THE DOCS, AND THEY MAKE NO SENSE TO ME, WITH ALL THAT CRAP ABOUT PADWAN AND THE STUPID GAMMAR ERRORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew.....
Anyway any links to tutorials or help would be apreciated...

you must download the Battlefront2_MOdTools to make a map
how to make own heroes ? ummmmm i don't know
or maybe you can take the skin of another jedi and change it

dude - the Docs had something you don't seem to like: humor..

look at the Jedi Creation Doc, since it's how you create one.

Sorry guys, but The only game I've mapped for is Republic commando and I'm used to the editor for that one.

It's maily vehicle spawns that give me the trouble....

Alright...

So I am very new to SWBF modding and was wondering if anyone would be willing to give me any help with vehicle spawns and placing objects, Because when I try to place an object, nothing shows up!

I made sure everything was in the right place, I remunged my map, and made a new one. So do I need to uninstal and reinstal the mod tools?

If you guys could spare a link or two it would be nice...please

EDIT: well even though you have sturred things up a bit here i guess i could help a bit. let's start with vehicle spawns. what part is confusing you? in the getting started doc it gives a good enough explanation but maybe you just need a little bit more help

Back on topic: I am guessing you dont have an ODF. and MSH. files in your map folder cause they dont explain that in the docs. or do they?, cause I dont remember then talking about putting any in.
