I am working on my new map and I placed in three spawns for AATs and one for an LAAT Gunship. I have set everything up properly but when I play the map they do not spawn and I get this in my BFront2 log:

"

Did you call for the vehicles in the "Read Data File" section of the LUA?

Of course.

Off Topic: Does anybody know how to create ODFs and REQs without copying old ones?

Yeah, make a new .txt and then change the extension to .odf or .req, respectively.

It is impossible for it not to work... What happens? ODF's, REQ's, and TXT's are all exactly the same thing: ASCII (or UNICODE) text, but with a different file extension.

well I name the file *example* abc_weap_inf_example.req but it still stays as a text document.

EDIT: Ok figured out the REQ problem :) . I just need to save the file as a REQ file. Still need help with the vehicle spawn though... :(

I have had the naming problem as well. This happens becouse windows is hiding the real extensions. you have to adjust your foldersettings( not sure what it's called in english since my windows is dutch). I think you will find it under EXTRA, Foldersettings (in dutch: map opties), than the display tab (weergave) and uncheck the checkbox <hide extensions for common filetypes> . After you've done that, you will see extensions for every file and when you adjust the name, you can also adjust the extension (might take some getting used to not renaming the whole thing. When you just typ in,< Random File> , it will ask if you really want to change the filetype in to nothing.
