Vehicular Staticity? Not-inside rideability?

I didn't quite know what to call this topic, because I don't know what I am trying to do is called. :roll:

This is something that SWBF 2, and even BF 1942, has that SWBF 1 doesn't: The ability to ride on a vehicle without being in the vehicle. You know, standing on a tank as it drives around, etc. Unfortunately, if you hop on a vehicle in SWBF 1, it'll just move right out from under you.

Is there some way to enable this quality in SWBF 1 vehicles? Preferably if it is just editing vehicles for a mod map, not changing the code of the game.

If you get no luck you should post in the XSI forum too becuase it is probably in with the msh

If you want my advice, such a parameter must be stored in SWBF II's executable or in a *.LVL file whose content won't be released in SWBF II Mod Tools... ("ingame.lvl", etc...)
But only experienced modellers or programmers will provide you a valid answer...

Fred said it's not possible in BF1, they fixed in BF2, though. It's coded in the exe.

Now, those who have read my wishes for 2006 will understand why I'd have wanted to get SWBF I and II source codes... :wink: (Amongst other ones...)
