They say that the best weapon is the one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it... and it's worked out pretty well so far. I present to you the newest in Stark Industries' Freedom line. Find an excuse to let one of these off the chain, and I personally guarantee, the bad guys won't even wanna come out of their caves. Ladies and gentlemen, for your consideration...
the Jericho.
Now, I know it's not completely accurate. I don't own the movie, and I couldn't find a good pic on Google Images.

The texture also needs some darkening, but oh well.

One word: BOOM.
Imagine a rocket launcher spamming a bunch of smaller versions of that missile...
or of course, a single, really big one for that ever so popular nuke effect.

Actually, it's not wuite finished. I gotta add the fins to the front as well, and a curve to the tip.

If you felt like making the texture more accurate (not a big deal), I would Put the Stark Industries logo going down the side.
It looks kinda like...
/Stark Industries just down the side of the missile

Srry, but I won't. This way took enough time, so I don't think so. But if someone who's actually good at texturing would like to fix it up, I'd gladly send them the model for touch-ups.

Great models guys! Here is one I just made, not very good, but it is my first gun I have ever attempted to make:
The M1 Garand
A rifle mass produced by the Americans during WWII, the M1 had an eight round magazine and it was one of the first semi-automatic weapons produced in its time. How do I know this? Millitary Channel.

Tell me what you think!

not too shabby for a first gun attempt. My only issue is the barrel isn't all that...barrel-ish. Try using the boolean difference with a cylinder to cut it out.

That's a great start! Just be advised that you'll want to cut down on the polygons in the end (you can always keep modeling at a high tri count and then filter it once the model is finished). When the game tries to handle many polygons, especially when they're small and close together, things don't turn out too well.

Looks cool, but I see alot of darkness in that wireframe shot, you may want to reduce the number of polygons so neither the exporter nor Visual Munge will choke on it.
Also, this is a showcase topic not a progress topic, if you plan on posting several images over a period of time showing progress updates then you should start a WIP topic.
