Ok, I have 2 sides: a rep side which is for my map, and regular cis. Now, I read the tutorials, but they explain how to localize new sides. How do I make the game recognize the names for the sides it already has? And about the rep, the name for my units are no different from that in the game, so technically, should I not have to do anything?
Oh yeah, I do hit the localize button when munging

What happens when you play your map? I can't help you very well if I don't know what is wrong.
All I can say is you shouldn't need to do anything unless A. You've created anything that has a name and healthbar shown when you look at it (soldiers, vehicles, mines, there might be more) with an odf named differently then the originals. (if it has the same name, as a shipped odf, example you overode the rep officer with Yoda but the odf has the same name as it did before, it will read whatever the name of the odf is is, in this case "Clone Commander" not "Yoda" Or B. you want to change somethings name like like call the hero "Master Yoda" instead of the default "Yoda" In my experience (correct me if I'm wrong), to munge localization, you check "common" not "localize". Hope this helps and is not too confusing!
