Yeah, he looks more like Black Mage.

Note how the Ancient Minister is missing his arms, and hands.
HANDS

Note that he is also missing his feet.
Does that mean we will have master foot and crazy foot?

Dunno if I said this before but I'm hoping that they aren't spoiling any secret characters. I'm excited to see Diddy Kong in the game. Hopefully this means King K Rool will also join in. Theoretically the only two remaining newcomers should be MetaKnight and Solid Snake, judging from the characters page.

Yeah. I remember reading/hearing something that Sakurai will only post characters that starters. And Snake is an unlock.

Does anyone else think that the stages they've shown so far are very small and boring? Myself and all of my friends who own the games love the bigger levels and play them the most so I'm going to be really disappointed if all the stages are as small as the ones we've seen. If we don't get a large Zelda-themed castle or a stage that takes place on The Great Fox I'm going to be mad!

HANDS
*Cough*

I don't see that making a lot of sense. I thought it was understood that the "Hands" represented the hands of the person playing with toys; the toys being figures of the Nintendo characters. Which also is why the hands are such a powerful enemy; they're basically the "gods" of the Smash world.

Pretty "intresting" update

, Yoshi grow wings and flies while shooting fireballs at his opponents .....No seriously that is what his final smash is... seems kind of "not Yoshi-ish" to me...

Yay for Yoshi's Final Smash, they brought back his SMW power-ups
And Mav, how do you know that AM isn't a medium in which Master and Crazy live through? I can kind of see the final battle, Ancient Minister floating in the background with the two Hands attacking you at once, hopefully on Final Destination (Best map ever

)
And about the name of the bad guy's world, Subspace. Anyone remember Super Mario Bros. 2 (US)? That place was known as Subcon, but when you went though a warp door you were in Subspace, and it later turns out that Subcon was just a dream. I wonder if this further proves that the smash world doesn't actually exist in the Video Game world?

The question is how Warioware mini stages are going to incorporated to one WarioWare stage. That stage is probably going to be the least used in terms of brutal fighting.

Yeah, it looks like more of a challenge stage than a fighting stage

a theory of mine is that if you don't complete the mini-game you take damage. So in the "Don't get wet" you have to stay under the umbrella when the bomb reaches 0 or you'll take damage. Like moving stages, except you're not moving. But I'm always moving.

Erm Yoshi lacks the power to stomp the floor.

I doubt that. Remember, years ago when there was that Super Smash Bros Melee website, the starters characters and stages were first and proceeding that was the unlocked characters and stages.
Perhaps Brawl is following the same pattern.
Luigi, Meta Knight, Snake, Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, etc may be secret and unlockable characters.
