Questions about TCW Padme [Solved]

Post by Indytotof »

Hello modders and mappers, here is Indytotof !

I've recently view somes videos from Star Wars Battlefront 3 (alphas footage of the cancelled one I guess) and I saw Padme Amidala as a playable hero and I've remember there was here a playable Padme Amidala and I've download her.

That how she appears in the swbmsh viewer:
Hidden/Spoiler:

Notes: XSI (ZE tool installed) seems to not want to import rep_inf_amidala_anims.msh.

She appears well, however, on Unlimited Unwrap3d Pro.

Is there a way to make her look well and with the right size of a swbf 2 model (without XSI), with Blender for exemple ?

Was that the only .msh you opened?
I also opened some meshes in msh viewer and they also looked weird and odd. But how your model looks in game?

Downloaded her but the textures she looks very wierd on noesis. The textures seems to be applicated correctly with the .msh one but some body parts arent correctly ajusted and the appears a little too big compare how other swbf2 models appears on the swbfmsh viewer.

I just need to know if it's possible to fix the already exported one on blender (since XSI have some issues with this .msh file), not a link to a model that needs to be exported (and since it's way to difficult for me to do that...)..

Thanks though.

Noesis has nothing to do with this, import the *.obj into XSI where you can prepare and export it to msh. Unwrap3d is the only application that displays native SWTCW character msh files correctly. You can't use Blender to export character models to *.msh.

The model I have is already exported.

Is there a way to fix it not with XSI ?

1. The person that exported it must have messed it up, have them fix it.
2. No, unless you are extremely skilled with a Hex editor and have knowledge of Pandemic's *.msh format.

What's wrong with XSI???

I have an amidala wip xsi file. There is only a little bit weighting missing and one cloth thing that need to be converted.

Pm me if you are interessted in these files.
