Geonosis: Landing At Point Rain [TRAILER OUT]

Hello there GameToasters,

Since my Korriban map have a problem, Deviss-Rex, B.I.G_Cookie and I started another project.

The Clone Wars: Geonosis: Landing at Point Rain


This map allows you to play as the invading Republic forces or the defending CIS/Geonosians.
The Republic have one target:
Capture Poggle the Lesser and destroy his new droid factories. In order to prtect the few finished droids and the factories, the geonosian inhabitants rose a massvie war machinery to stop the republic at all cost.

Some special classes for the sides:

Republic:

ARF Trooper Geonosian style.
ARF Special Trooper "Waxer"
ARF Special Trooper "Boil"

CIS:

Super Battle Droid in CIS elite guard skin
Surprising Geonosian

It's a nice idea, but the map is looking slightly bland at the moment. Some of the set up's of rocks look nice, but are you going to have anything else? Where is most of the map going to be based?
oh, and the troopers look really wicked!!!!

I will add some terrain differences, but the map is even in TCW, or at least the most part of it.

Very cool map. This will be the one Geonosis map that I'm looking forward to because I loved that episode. Action packed.

Wow all these new wips with significant progress. although there are 2 geonosians maps, i think this will be better.

i think you should make it so that you can spawn in the venator and come down in gunships.
to counter this, you should have powerful turrets. Also how about catacombs?
And an elaborate interior of the spire would be new and very nice.

I'm going to tell that from experience, this map is WAY too big and open for the gameplay to be any fun. You need to seriously consider refining the idea. Maybe you could just make the map focus around the perimeter where the ships landed or something to make it smaller.

Well, I tried to put everything of that great episode in, so I have now 3 crashing sides, the bridge, the spire and I am going to add the defensive circle of Cody's men.

The elaborate interior...well, I am not a modeler, so I can't add it. But I am experimenting with some catacombs out of hoth tunnels.

if you use Rhen Var tunnel staters it will more like catacombs.

sry to Lysia_Keyes, but this map, especailly the skins, looks a lot better than his at the moment.
