Okay so looking back on my old lot, I am not completely satisfied. To the end of letting myself be ok with my lot, I'm remodeling it. Don't have much to show yet except for the building model itself and then the tram ("roller coaster") that circuits between the ground and the upper concourse.


Edit: It is clearly time for me to sleep; I posted that in quite the wrong thread.

The tram is a very interesting idea. Watching it in action brings back nauseous memories at Knott's Berry Farm.

haha that's a fun-looking tram roller coaster thing I had an idea similar to that, a monorail that goes through my lot or something. You just made nulls on the model on each seat for someone to sit on i guess?

No, really, it looks nice. From teh ground level, though, your old one looks better. Once you get to the top, though, this one looks waaaay better.

From the ground level they both look like big cylinders with some strange protuberances up top; the only real difference is that this newer one doesn't use awkwardly-tiling textures without any coherency of design. (To that end, I don't even know if I've posted pictures of my other lot from the ground up - looking at the video I posted of the old one; you never really see it in full until you're at the top.) One of the points of my update was to bring the design in and match the rest of Rep's big buildings (which I believe it should now).

The tram is very cool, I like the spiral driving ramp too, reminds me of something

Glad to see people are getting back into finishing/starting their plots.

After seeing the vid almost makes me want to go and add something cool to mine.

I just started looking at this whole section of the forum, and I have to say that all of you have done a great job. (Coming from me, thats not much, but get what you can get. LOL) The tram may be the coolest thing, though.

about your building, I've been trying to convert it several times (unsuccesfull), but I've leveled the errors down so that I should be able to convert it succesfully in the (very) near future

Wrong thread. You should have asked in the How to Get Started thread. I would direct you there now, but it seems that the image for the lots has gone missing. I'd just wait until Rep uploads a new image or makes a listing of lots that are left (he probably can prune a few away for people that haven't been around for a while).

I re-did my building an added a balcony.


New interior to my building, I can add about a dozen floors like this, just have nothing to put in them yet.



This is the entire city so far, all the big buildings are mine except for Mav's! *waiting for people to start modeling*
